I was inspired to do this for a couple of reasons: 1) I have three great children and a beautiful wife that I want at least 50 more years with; 2) it is getting more difficult to find professional looking clothes in my sizes (44W); 3) my friend Brian lost 41 lbs and looks great (he often sets a bar that I reach for in life, family, creativity and now fitness) and 4) I want to feel better for me.

I will go over 20 miles this week. I have not had a "Quality" work out yet, all have been easy to date. I am not going to rush back to long runs, intervals, Yasso 800's or hills quite yet.
4.23 tonight in 51:31 (12:10 pace) Really slow. knee band really helping with my pain. Weight is up need to get it back down again.
Sunday: 2.91 miles in 33:09 same route 3 minutes faster I bought a band for my right knee to help with IT band pain
